Professor Gearoid Millar will be moderating a webinar with the International Studies Association on October 24th at 1:30pm on Decolonizing Peace and Conflict Studies? This panel will bring together the editors of The Sage Handbook of Peace and Conflict Studies (2025) to discuss themes such as: the possibilities and constraints in calls and claims to decolonize peace and conflict studies, challenging mainstream assumptions, and promoting broader, more critical analyses of peace and conflict in a historical moment of rising authoritarianism and genocide.
