Dr Malcolm Harvey was recognised at this year's Excellence Awards, where he won the award for 'Excellence in Student Support.' Dr Harvey was commended for his integration of support into teaching strategies in the School of Social Science, initiating 'Wellbeing Wednesdays' and acting as a Mental Health Champion. His work on the Global Classroom Initiative and efforts in providing career opportunities through internships was also recognised.
Those who nominated Dr Harvey noted that his unwavering support has positively impacted students’ mental health, academic success, PGT recruitment, and high student satisfaction.
