This executive course is designed for professionals in the security and education sectors. 2. Counterinsurgency Theory

This executive course is designed for security professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge in the small wars space and acquire skills in theory development. Candidates learn the most innovative ideas in counterinsurgency theory. They will also be trained in the skills necessary to develop ‘strategic theory’ useful for practice in specific contexts. After completing the course, candidates will be able to contribute to their country’s counterinsurgency strategy and other needs of the police and armed forces.

3. Maritime Domain Awareness

This executive course is designed for business and government leaders in maritime security and the blue economy. Candidates will develop a comprehensive understanding of the maritime world, particularly in terms of economic and security issues in territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). After completing the course, candidates will be able to contribute to state and private sector strategies on how to leverage opportunities in the maritime sector to promote peace, security, and prosperity.

4. Policy Advice

This executive course is designed for candidates interested in or already working in policy or policy advisor roles. While examining cases from development, peace, and security policy candidates will acquire critical knowledge of the tools necessary to assess existing policy, develop and design new policy options, and frame and promote policy guidance for leaders at all levels of government. After completing the course candidates will be prepared to contribute actively and positively to all areas of policy design, evaluation, and advising.
