The Alumni Speaker Series talk led by AFG College Alumnus Dr. Sultan Albrahim, graduate from the MBA Programme offered an exclusive perspective on “Substance Use Treatment and Recovery in the Middle East” of which he addressed the urgent issue of drug addiction, examining various substances, recovery rates, and effective treatment principles along with evolving policies and legal frameworks surrounding drug addiction and emphasised the importance of intervention systems and supportive networks for users. The session outlined how public health can play a transformative role in supporting those affected by addiction. The session ended with an engaging Q&A, allowing attendees to explore this critical topic further.
