Biography
Dr Seungho Lee is the Head of Finance at the University of Aberdeen Business School. He has held several leadership roles within the School, including Programme Lead for the MSc Corporate Finance and Law and the MSc International Finance and Political Relations. In 2024, he was elected to the Senatus Academicus of the University, where he will serve until 2028.
Dr Lee’s research has been published in leading finance journals such as the International Review of Financial Analysis (CABS 3), European Financial Management (CABS 3), Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money (CABS 3), Journal of Asset Management (CABS 2), Research in International Business and Finance (CABS 2), and the Review of World Economics (CABS 2). He also serves as a reviewer for European Financial Management (CABS3), Finance Research Letters, Journal of Asset Management, and Research in International Business and Finance.
His research interests span a wide range of topics in finance, with a particular focus on international investment, financial risk management, and the efficiency of cryptocurrency markets.
Beyond academia, Dr Lee has worked extensively as a consultant for both private firms and public organisations. His past clients include Select Sector SPDRs, Rakuten, Inc., Citrix Systems, Inc., and Middlebury College.
