Professor Jie Wu

Professor Jie Wu is a renowned scholar in strategy, international business, and digital innovation, with over 80 publications in premier academic journals, including those listed among the Financial Times Top 50 and the UTD Top 24, including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, and Research Policy. His research spans corporate governance, digital inclusion, female entrepreneurship, AI, renewable energy, and culture and institutions. His work has been featured in Harvard Business Review and Forbes.

He serves as Editor for Technovation and Associate Editor for Asian Business & Management. He has co-edited special issues for journals such as MIR, TR-E, and EMJ, shaping scholarly dialogue in strategy, innovation, and international business.

Professor Wu has been consistently ranked among the top 1% of scientists worldwide in 2021–2022, 2022–2023, and 2023–2024 by Stanford University, based on a comprehensive evaluation of scholars across 149 countries.

Teaching Responsibilities

I contribute to teaching and learning in strategy and innovation, and I supervise postgraduate research students.
