Biography
Haci Bayram Yilmaz holds a PhD in Quantitative Research, Evaluation, and Measurement from The Ohio State University (OSU). While at OSU, he contributed to a national public health evaluation project and worked at the Ohio Department of Education as a Social Sciences Research Specialist.
He previously held faculty positions at two Turkish universities, where he taught research methods, statistics, project development, and educational assessment. He also served as Associate Director of a Distance Education Research Centre, where he coordinated large-scale exams, including an international student exam delivered in over 20 countries.
Bayram has supported various national and international organizations in project design, implementation, and evaluation, including the Turkish Ministry of Education, TUBITAK, OSYM, and COWI A/S. He joined the University of Aberdeen as a lecturer in psychometrics at the Centre for Healthcare Education Research and Innovation (CHERI) in 2022.
