Gordon Bryce

Biography

I joined the team at the Lighthouse Field Station in 2025 after graduating with a degree in Animal and Conservation Biology. I work across a variety of research projects, but my main focus is the bottlenose dolphin photo-identification programme. I skipper our survey vessel, Rona, during fieldwork and grade and identify individual dolphins from the photographs we collect, helping to monitor the local population over the long term.
