Biography
I received my BSc Psychology degree in Turkey and MSc Clinical Psychology degree at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2018. I started my PhD programme at the University of Aberdeen in 2020.
My primary research interests are in nonverbal behaviours, gesture, self-touch, anxiety, and gender nonconformity.

Current Research
My PhD project examines how nonverbal behaviours accompanying a speech, especially gestures, are affected by individual's cognition and communication skills.
Past Research
I have worked on the role of past gender nonconformity experience and social environment reactions in mental health problems of LGBT community and heterosexuals.
