The University of Aberdeen's men's 4x100m relay time stunned their rivals from across the UK by winning gold in the BUCS Outdoor Championships in Cardiff.
The Aberdeen team of Tony Wesley, Bradley Francis, Thomas Brennan and Justin Ekeh came first with the fastest ever time for a Scottish team in the event at BUCS – 41.08 seconds.
The win comes just a week after the team triumphed at the Scottish Student Sport Outdoor Championships and has been described as one of Aberdeen’s ‘most famous ever’ at BUCS.
Bradley Francis also picked up an individual bronze in the 400m hurdles in a dramatic finish.
