Professor Robert Frost has been awarded the Benedikt the Pole prize for his book on the Polish-Lithuanian Union. Professor Frost was also awarded the Union of Lublin medal by the city of Lublin for ‘significant contributions to the preservation of the memory of the Union of Lublin’. This was part of a series of events to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the 1569 Union of Lublin. These are just the latest in a number of prizes and accolades that the book has attracted in Poland.
