Former masters student John Montgomery success in Prix Presque Rien 2017
John Montgomery (MMus Sonic Arts, 2016) has received a distinction in the Prix Presque Rien 2017, France, for his piece "Vol". The piece will be performed at a special concert at La Muse en Circuit in Alfortville, France on 4th January 2018.

Sarah Rimkus - winner of national competition
The competitive and professional success continues for University of Aberdeen composers, as PhD candidate Sarah Rimkus was recently named the National winner of Seattle-based choir The Esoterics' POLYPHONOS competition. She will be commissioned to write a new work for the choir to premiere in early October 2018.
