University of Aberdeen Choral Society

Founded in 1875, Choral Society is the University’s oldest and largest performing ensemble, specialising in large-scale choral masterworks. Music ranges from unaccompanied motets to full symphony collaboration, featuring well-known classics alongside under-represented masterpieces. Upcoming projects include a Christmas festival mixing ancient and modern favourites; and The Three
Hermits, a sacred opera adapted from a story by Leo Tolstoy.

How to join: Membership is non-auditioned and open to all students, staff, and community singers. We are an LGBTQIA+ safe space.

Rehearsals: Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings 19.30-21.45 in King’s Pavilion beginning on 13 October.
