Student Ambassador (Registration Support), Academic Services & Online Education
We are looking to recruit a number of Student Ambassadors to work as part of a larger team providing support to students registering for their studies using the University’s Online Registration and MyCurriculum systems. The Registration Support Service operates throughout the main registration period of August-September. Acting as a first point of contact for users of both the University’s Online Registration system and MyCurriculum (the University’s online course selection tool), the successful candidates will respond to enquiries primarily via webchat and email, and occasionally by telephone. There may also be opportunities to provide face-to-face support at the Registration Support helpdesk at the Old Aberdeen campus. Previous experience in customer-facing roles with office or administrative experience would therefore be advantageous. Training will be given on the various University systems used by the Registration Support Service.
Summer Gardners/ Grounds Persons, Estates & Facilities
The Estates & Facilities Section is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to assist in the maintenance of Cruickshank Botanic Gardens and University of Aberdeen Grounds. Working 36.5 hours per week, Monday day to Friday for a period of 12 weeks from Monday 1st June to Friday 28th August, 2026. Gardening posts will be full-time, while also including a single part-time Gardener post for 3 days per week (22 hours) as per the same 12-week duration. Successful candidates will be provided with a uniform, protective clothing and relevant training in order to carry out their duties.
