Senior Clinical Lecturers work as part of the General Practice Community Medical Education (GPCME) team. General Practice is a key specialty in undergraduate medical teaching at the University of Aberdeen, with a GP Enhanced Programme supported throughout the University and at a national level. This is an exciting time to consider a position within the GP teaching team, with significant activity maintaining existing strong community teaching and developing novel teaching methods.This part-time, 40% FTE, Senior Years post is specific to lead Year 5 GP teaching and requires excellent organisational and communication skills. The applicant will develop strong relationships with numerous practices across different Health Boards in Scotland, providing GP clinical placements for students at the University of Aberdeen.

The University of Aberdeen is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Security Officer within the Estates and Facilities Directorate to assist in the delivery of a 24/7 security service across the University buildings and Campuses.As a Security Officer you’ll be required to work a core 24/7 shift pattern consisting of 7 – 9 hour late and night shifts Monday – Friday and 12 hour day and night shifts at weekends, although flexibility around working hours is required. The ability to work successfully as part of a team and possess excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are essential to the role.
