Dr Osofero is a Senior Lecturer in Structural Engineering in the School of Engineering at University of Aberdeen. He is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. He specializes in the field of behaviour and design of structures. His primary research interests involve experimental testing and numerical modelling of structures and structural materials’ behaviour. He was awarded the Aberdeen City Council community star award in 2016 in recognition of his work in promoting engineering to local primary and secondary school pupils.
