Amplifying Women's Voices for Climate Change

Professor Beth Scott (Chair) School of Biological Science

Are women’s voices heard in the climate change debate? Are we sleepwalking into an era where the climate change agenda is led by male voices and leaders? Our panel will discuss and look at that question and offer ideas on how women’s voices from research, to business to local communities can be amplified in the climate emergency arena. Professor Beth Scott leads this panel discussion, with Dr Ana Payo-Payo, Dr Daria Shapovalova, Dr Shamima Haque and Alison Stuart of Climate Action Aberdeen.

Recorded live on March 10th 2022 as part of the University of Aberdeen's International Womens Day programme of events.
