Biography

Robert Erskeyne was incorporated in St. Andrews 1530 as rector of Glenbervie and commendator of Inchmahome 1529–1537. Chancellor of Moray, 1537-39. Provost of Trinity Collegiate Church, Edinburgh, 1539-40. Dean of Aberdeen, 1540-63 (recommended by James V in 1540- BL, Ms. Royal 18.B.vi, f.97).
