Biography

Of Dundee, student at Paris with friend Hector Boece, BTh Aber. 1504, attended Erasmus's lectures on Bible, first subprincipal of King's Coll., Aberdeen, 1505 while Boece was principal, succeeded Boece as principal 1536-43, taught theology; one at Paris 1536.
