Biography

Writer, musician, minister and printer. Born Dijon, 1520. After studying at Paris and Poitres, he entered the chapel at Langres as treasurer 1542 , then became the minister. Started the first permanent printing house in Langres, 1582. Printed some of his own works. Published under the pseudonym "Thoinot Arbeau". Died Langres 1595.
