Virtual Celebration of Carols Watch Party

This is a past event

We would like to invite all alumni, supporters, and friends to attend our Carol Service Watch Party on Wednesday 15 December from 7.30pm. Due to current circumstances it is not possible for us to host our annual Celebration of Carols in the wonderful St Marylebone Parish Church with our fantastic host the Reverend Canon Dr Stephen Evans, but we hope that you will be able to join us virtually to watch this festive celebration which has been pre-recorded on campus.

Organised in partnership with the University Chaplaincy Centre and the Music Department, pour yourself a glass of mulled wine (or your preferred alternative) and watch a series of carols from the University Chamber Choir, readings from alumni Andrew Simpson, Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire, and Rev Dr Kay Gauld, Minister at Insch-Leslie-Premnay-Oyne Parish Church, as well as a special musical performance by award-winning composer Joanna Gill. We will also hear messages and prayers from our Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor George Boyne, The Revd Canon Dr Stephen Evans, Professor Iain Torrance KCVO, and Rev Marylee Anderson.

We are also very excited that we will have a reading and special message from one of the best known and most loved TV presenters and journalists in the UK, Lorraine Kelly.

Online registrations have now closed. If you would like to attend this event please email us on and we will register you.
