ACWHR Seminar with Professor Hilary Critchley - 'Abnormal uterine bleeding and related health impacts: still an unmet clinical need.'
Please join the Aberdeen Centre for Women's Health (ACWHR) on Wednesday 28th January at 12.15 in the MacGillivary Conference room of the Maternity Hospital (or on Teams for those joining remotely!) for a seminar with Professor Hilary Critchley.
Professor Critchley is a clinician scientist. She holds a Personal Chair in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Edinburgh; and is a Consultant (Honorary) Gynaecologist. She is immediate past Chair of FIGO Committee for Menstrual Disorders and Related Health Impacts (2023-25). Her research programme for over 30 years has focused upon the biology of the endometrium, disorders of menstruation and abnormal uterine bleeding from biological and clinical perspectives. Her commitment to addressing problems of menstrual bleeding embraces how research enhances understanding and care, and “tackling the taboo” around menstruation.
