Overview
This course is concerned with an introduction to classical biblical Hebrew without presupposing any prior knowledge. It involves the study of grammar and syntax and the translation of simple Hebrew prose texts.
Structure
2 one-hour tutorials per week.
Assessment
1st Attempt: 1 one-hour written examination paper (50%) and continuous assessment, including one class test (20%) homework and quizzes (30%).
Resit: 1 one-hour written examination paper (100%), provided each element of assessment is CAS 6 or above. New coursework can be submitted.
