Biography
I have recently joined the Reputation and Enhancements Team in the Business School as a School Administrator (Accreditation). My role focuses on providing comprehensive support for the upcoming EQUIS reaccreditation application and October events, in addition to other external engagement and accreditation activities.
Prior to working at the University of Aberdeen, I spent 2.5 years working in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh (in addition to the Maxwell Institute for Mathematical Sciences), followed by a contracted post in the Research Degrees Office at Robert Gordon University. Before moving into higher education, I worked in industrial and decorative coatings in B2B operations and account management.
I hold a First Class MA(Hons) in Classical Studies from the University of Edinburgh and was awarded the Chilton Prize for Classical Archaeology for my dissertation on the impact of modern conflict on the ancient site of Palmyra, Syria. I am currently working towards a MSc in Cultural Heritage Futures at the Edinburgh Futures Institute (predicted Distinction), with a focus on the intersection between indigenous heritage and climate change, and how this can be ethically and appropriately represented through interactive media.
