Biography
Tayo Gbemi is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Aberdeen, where she investigates the regulatory frameworks governing environmental protection and public participation in wind energy licensing across Nigeria, the United Kingdom (England and Scotland), and Denmark. Her research interests span African and European legal systems relating to energy and the environment, with a broader focus on climate justice, legal harmonisation, and institutional reform in energy governance.
In addition to her academic work, Tayo’s interests and practice areas include alternative dispute resolution and corporate compliance, both of which complement her expertise in regulatory structures and governance.
