Researched the Role of Neuropilin-1 Interacting Integrins in the Biomedical Research Centre at the University of East Anglia and awarded a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.

Held a Cancer Research UK Research Fellow position at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research in Glasgow researching the role of protein cysteine oxidation in High Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer using novel proteomics.

My role in the University of Aberdeen is to study the distinct pools of mTORC1 as a Research Fellow in the lab of Dr Riko Hatakeyama.

My varied positions have left me with a keen interest in angiogenesis, cancer biology, cell signalling and behaviour and proteomics based mass spectrometry.

I am always looking to promote a collaborative, relaxed, inclusive and open research culture.
