Biography

I am a Careers Adviser at the University of Aberdeen, providing individual and group careers information, advice and guidance to a diverse caseload of students and recent graduates. I am the lead Careers Adviser for the Schools of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture, and Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition

I achieved my Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education Careers Information, Advice and Guidance from the University of Warwick (in collaboration with AGCAS).  I am an ILM Level 3 Coach,  an Accredited Belbin Practitioner, Fellow of Advance HE (formerly HEA), and an #IamRemarkable facilitator.

In addition to careers advising, I am responsible for the University of Aberdeen's Careen Mentoring Programme.

Having been part of the Careers Service team since 2007, I am also highly experienced in designing and delivering employability initiatives that support positive student outcomes.

I led the development of the Careers Service Level 2 ILM Award in Leadership and Team Skills, delivered exclusively online.

I am pleased to deliver course-specific work experience and careers information and advice to students across all stages of study on request.
