Mr Paul Manson

Biography

Paul Manson is the Information Specialist at Aberdeen Centre for Evaluation.  He joined the unit in 2019.  He works primarily with the Evidence Review Group on Technology Assessment Appraisals, Health Technology Assessments, and other evidence syntheses but supports all teams and individual staff within ACE.  Paul teaches literature search skills to students on the Systematic Review and Masters in Public Health courses.

Prior to joining ACE, Paul worked for NHS Grampian as a Clinical Librarian.  He carried out literature searches and provided training for clinical and non-clinical staff across NHS Grampian, and was the first port of call for information queries for staff on the Foresterhill site.  He has a BA in English from the Open University, which he completed while in the Royal Navy, and a PGDip in Library and Information Science from the Robert Gordon University.
