Research Overview
I retired from The University of Aberdeen in May 2009, and moved to Cornwall in September where I have a Visiting Professorship at the Centre for Ecology and Conservation at The University of Exeter in Cornwall's Tremough Campus near Falmouth. I have a Leverhulme Emeritus Fellowship which is enabling me to complete projects on bat ecology and conservation in Madagascar.
