Biography
I am a final year PhD student in the department of physics at the University of Aberdeen, where I also completed my undergraduate degree in physics in 2021. My current research focuses on understanding the complex dynamics of a chaotic laser, with the goal of exploring its potential suitability for communication system applications.

Internal Memberships
Since November 2022 I have been a member of the University of Aberdeen's Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee (EDIC) as the representative for the students' association (AUSA).
In September 2024 I returned to the committee of the students' LGBTQ+ Forum as the new social media manager, after I took a year off to focus on my research.
