Biography

After graduating from Ankara University Law School with an LLB in 2016, Nurullah Benli was hired by the Internet Service Providers Associations of Turkey (ESB). He established communication channels between Content Providers and Internet Service Providers in order to ensure the proper implementation of courts' decisions addressing the violation of Turkish law on the Internet.

Nurullah was awarded a scholarship by the National Education Ministry of Turkey for LLM and PhD studies in the UK. He completed his LLM in International Law at the University of Sussex in 2019. He began his PhD studies at the University of Aberdeen in 2021. His doctoral research focuses on the implementation of State sovereignty in cyberspace under international law.
