Biography

I am a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology at the University of Aberdeen. My research project looks at environmental toxicities on Indigenous lands in the Canadian subarctic through the example of historically spilled uranium-ore. In collaboration with a Dene First Nation, I investigate the role of trails in the dissemination and remediation of contamination, as well as the politics of knowledge built, shared, and contested around contamination events on Indigenous lands.
