Biography
My current clinical research expertise is the result of over 17 years’ experience in managing a variety of clinical trials and other health research in a breadth of disciplines including rheumatology, cardiology, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, women’s health and bowel conditions. I have a degree in Pharmacology and a PhD in pharmaceutics and novel imaging techniques.
My clinical research experience is also enriched by being an expert member in the West of Scotland Research Ethics Committee and also being a board member of the UK Clinical Trial Managers Network.
I have an established expertise and skillset for Patient and Public Involvement in research and have a keen interest in trial methodology research (to increase trial efficiency), in particular Trial participants preference and mode of data collection on trial retention.
