Biography
I am the Careers Adviser for the School of Divinity, History, Philosophy and Art History, School of Social Science and the School of Psychology. In my role I support students as they explore their options after university, develop key skills and connect with relevant organisations across the globe.
I also run the bp Student Tutoring Scheme which supports 100 students as they undertake teaching placements in primary and secondary schools across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

Teaching Responsibilities
I teach on the second-year course PD2503: Work-based learning: Team projects with employer partners
Non-course Teaching Responsibilities
When working with students, my role is to inform, advise and guide individuals as they reflect on their career motivations. My students study non-vocational courses therefore many of their career ideas are influenced by personal motivations, external factors or through experience. I hold Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of my teaching and learning support work against the Professional Standards Framework.
