Biography
Gavin join the Centre of Academic Development in 2017 and is part of the Senior e-Learning Team. Main responsibilities include system administration of Blackboard, Panopto, Turnitin, Vevox and Ally. He also supports the use of the FutureLearn and has an overview of digital accessibility in teaching and learning.
Previously, Gavin was an e-Learning Adviser at Robert Gordon University for almost 10 years working in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. There he gained a PGCert “Higher Education in Learning and Teaching”.
Before moving into Higher Education, Gavin worked as an IT Instructor and an e-Learning Tutor at Aberdeen College (now NESCOL) for 6 years.
