Biography
Federica Savoré is a Teaching Fellow and Programme Director of the MSc in Person‑Centred Counselling at the University of Aberdeen. She is a BACP‑accredited psychotherapist, a COSCA Practitioner Member, a COSCA‑accredited Trainer, and a qualified Counselling Supervisor. Her practice and research are grounded in the person‑centred and experiential tradition, with specialist interests in neurodivergence, experiential practice, and bilingualism.

She also has experience educating international students, liaising with accrediting bodies, and supporting professional practice standards.
Alongside her academic role, Federica runs a small private practice providing counselling and supervision. She is currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Chester, where her research explores processes in neurodivergent adults. She has presented her work at professional events, including the PCE Europe Symposium in Glasgow.
Before entering academia, Federica worked in a variety of sectors in Italy and the UK, including leadership roles in corporate and retail settings, extensive customer‑facing roles, and voluntary work within community counselling services.
