Biography
Liz was appointed Director of Research and Innovation in 2016, leading the team responsible for research administration, business development, commercialisation of academic research, continuing professional development and hosting of the postgraduate research college.
Liz has been with the University of Aberdeen since 1997, specialising in research management, commercialisation of research and supporting economic development. She has previously been a member of the Scottish Funding Council's Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee, and has gained extensive Board of Director experience on early phase start ups.
Liz is double graduate of the University of Aberdeen, with a BSc in Biochemistry and PhD in Genetics and Microbiology.
