Biography
She/they, PhD Candidate in Art History.
My PhD project, 'Queering the Archangels: Representation and Engagement in Late Medieval Britain.’
In my thesis I explore how medieval representations of the archangels is reflective of contemporary theology, along with how piety impacts the engagement with the archangels in late medieval art and material culture. Core to this thesis is engagement with medieval theology, queer theory, materiality and magic.
