Biography

Ella is a first year PhD student with the University of Aberdeen and SUPER DTP. Her PhD is looking at spatial mismatch between marine predators and their prey in the UK and how this may change with climate change. Her project is supervised by a team of researchers from the Universities of Aberdeen and St Andrews, NatureScot, JNCC and Marine Scotland, led by Prof Beth Scott and Dr Neda Trifonova at the University of Aberdeen.  Previously, Ella has been completing her MSc at the University of St Andrews focusing on the association between fisheries and northern gannets during her masters project. Ella has previously worked as seabird research assistant on the Isle of May, Scotland and on various other seabird and marine mammal project in Europe and New Zealand.
