Biography
I joined ACE in March 2019 as a Trial Manager. My role involves day-to-day management of the NIHR HTA funded FOLLOW-UP, PARTIAL and CATHETER II studies.
FOLLOW-UP is a natural experiment utilising routine data and surveys to determine the most clinical and cost-effective follow-up strategy for radically treated prostate cancer.
PARTIAL is a randomised controlled trial comparing minimally invasive partial nephrectomy and minimally invasive total nephrectomy to determine which surgery has better outcomes in patients with localised primary renal cell carcinoma and normal contralateral kidney.
CATHETER II was a randomised controlled trial comparing washout policies in adults with long-term catheter to determine their clinical and cost-effectiveness, patient acceptability and satisfaction, and safety compared to standard long term catheter care only.
I graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia with first class honours in Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry. Prior to joining the unit, I have worked in a variety of research support functions in a technical and research coordinator capacity in the UK.
