BioMek 4000 Robotics Have Arrived

New liquid handling robotics are now being commissioned in the CGEBM.

This week sees the commissioning of our new BioMek 4000 liquid handling robots from Beckman Coulter. This latest technology will aid in the high throughput preparation of the libraries ready for sequencing allowing for a larger number of samples to be prepared in parallel. The robotics will be up and running and ready for use in the Centre by the end of November 2015.
