Janet M. Byth, who received her MLitt Res degree in Ethnology in 2013, has published the book Fintry: 180 Years of a Rural North-East School. Based on archival and ethnographic research conducted as a student at the Elphinstone Institute, Janet's book examines the story and memories of a rural Aberdeenshire school.
