Due to the high winds, sections of the Botanic Garden have been closed / cordoned off.
Please note in the attached document, sections 6 – 12 are now all closed or locked to the public and/or staff that do not need access. The Chanonry entrance gate will be locked and signs put up to explain the closure.
Staff who are based in the Zoology Building or Cruickshank Building who need to walk in the southern section of the Garden to access both buildings and/or access St. Machar Drive are advised for their own safety, to stick to the main paved path parallel to the Herbaceous border and be vigilant at all times – the path is highlighted in yellow on the map.
