Wireless Service AT RISK - Friday 4 October
What is happening?
IT Services will be carrying out essential maintenance on the campus wireless network on Friday 4 October from 7.30am to 9am
During this time the Wireless Access Points (WAP) located throughout the University campus will each suffer an outage of 5 to 10 minutes while their internal software is updated.
What should you do?
Please be aware that there is a risk of loss of wireless connectivity during this period. The wireless network will be back on within a few minutes of a WAP being upgraded. There is no need to try and re-configure your device should you lose wireless during this time as your device should reconnect to the wireless as soon as the signal returns.
