Spam email appearing to be from Paypal
What is happening?
IT Services are aware of an email circulating, purporting to come from Paypal, with the Subject similar to “Resolution of case #PP".
Please be advised, this is spam and should be ignored and deleted.
You may also receive this at home or on a mobile device.
What should you do?
Please DO NOT respond to phishing emails in any way.
We have taken steps to stop this from entering the University system but if you are viewing your email off campus and have received the zip file, then you are expected to be vigilant and not run the exe file embedded within.
