Staff Email subject to interruptions between 17:00 and 19:00
What is happening?
DIT Service Engineers will be carrying out essential maintenance to the Exchange mail service (the service that manages the staff based email system). This is scheduled to take place between 17:00 and 19:00 on Wednesday 17 November 2010. During this time the email system will be subject to intermittent disconnections and should be considered AT RISK.
What should you do?
During this time the service will be at risk and thus may be subject to some disconnections. If you need to work at this time, we recommend that you keep saving your emails to Drafts folder and if possible avoid writing long emails during this essential maintenance period.
