Tuesday 27 August is the University Undergraduate Open Day and we expect the library sites to be exceptionally busy while we offer tours of the Sir Duncan Rice Library to our visitors
Over 7,500 visitors attended the Open Day in 2012, with more than 1,300 visiting The Sir Duncan Rice Library.
Visitors are invited to guided tours of The Sir Duncan Rice Library from 9am-3pm, leaving every hour from the Ground Floor Welcome Desk. Tours will visit the Ground Floor and Floor 7 of the library in particular. For visitors using the library who require quieter study space we recommend the Silent Study Rooms on floors 1,3,4,5 and 6.
For information, there will be a continuous slideshow on the ground floor video wall about the Library, Special Collections and Museums services, and a string quartet playing in the Events Area on the Ground Floor of The Sir Duncan Rice Library. For students interested in Medical Science subjects, our Medical Library, which is based at the Foresthill Campus, will have a stand in the William Guild Building, outside the Arts Lecture Theatre on King's campus.
