We were incredibly surprised and honoured that the AYEScreen Study was featured as part of the King and Queen's Reception celebrating 125 years of Cancer Research UK at St James's Palace, and attended by the King, Queen and the Princess of Wales.
AYEScreen is investigating to what extent offering vaginal HPV self-sampling to under-screened women and people with a cervix from the most disadvantaged and rural/remote populations can increase accessibility, equity, and participation in Scotland's Cervical Screening Programme. Seeing this work recognised at such a prestigious event is a wonderful acknowledgement of the importance of improving equitable access to cancer prevention.
