Staff at the University of Aberdeen have been named Best Events Team at the prestigious Scottish Event Awards, recognising their outstanding work and contribution to Scotland's events industry.
The award was announced at the Scottish Event Awards ceremony in Glasgow, organised by Eventit, which celebrates excellence, creativity and innovation across the national events sector.
It is the second time the University’s CPD & Events Services Team have won the accolade.
The University team was recognised for its consistently high standards in planning and delivering a diverse portfolio of events, supporting academic life, professional development, and external engagement across the institution and beyond.
Competing against leading event organisations from across Scotland, the University of Aberdeen’s CPD & Events Services Team impressed judges with its professionalism, adaptability and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for a wide range of audiences. The judging process is independently run, ensuring fairness and integrity in recognising best-in-class delivery across the industry.
Speaking after the announcement, Commercial and CPD Manager Nicola Pearce said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this award. It is a real testament to the dedication, creativity and expertise of the team who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional events that support learning, collaboration and community engagement. We are proud to see their work recognised at a national level.”
