Swimming sensation and University of Aberdeen performance swimmer, Faye Rogers, broke two records at the 2025 Speedo Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships last week.
Faye, who graduated from the University earlier this month, set a new World Para record in the Women's 19 Yrs/Over 200m Butterfly event with an astonishing time of 2:17.30.
She also set a new European record in the Women's MC 100m Butterfly race, completing it in 1:04.15 and winning the gold medal.
The event saw Faye win three gold medals overall, as well as a silver medal in the Women's MC 200m IM race.
Positive results rolled in from the University of Aberdeen Performance Swimming (UoAPS) team across the weekend.
Aiden Anderson brought home the silver medal in the Men's 15 Yrs 1500m Freestyle and the bronze in the Men’s 15 Yrs 800m Freestyle.
And Jamie Ferguson was awarded the bronze medal in the Men's 19 Yrs/Over 50m Backstroke.
On top of the team’s race success, UoAPS coach Patrick Miley was named Coach of the Day for day six of the competition (24 July), for Faye’s outstanding swim in the Women’s MC 100m Butterfly and breaking the European Record for the S10 category. He was also awarded the accolade for assisting Faye in breaking the Women's S10 200m Butterfly world record twice, earlier in the week.
