Critical updates to network equipment that supports the University of Aberdeen network.
What's happening?
On Saturday 17 May from 7am we will be installing critical updates to network equipment that supports the University of Aberdeen network. The maintenance should complete by 1pm.
The maintenance is taking place on part of our core network. Whilst almost all our services are resilient there remains a small risk of service outage. Staff will be monitoring services whilst we install essential updates to network equipment within our data centres.
What do you need to do?
If you are working or studying online on Saturday 17 May then please save your work regularly.
If you do see a service outage then please wait 5 to 10 minutes and try and access the service again.
